Mission
CONSC serves as the representative body for all nursing students by:
- Facilitating communication between students and administration in order to convey student concerns
- Fostering cooperation between students and faculty
- Facilitating interdisciplinary communication
- Engaging the ideas of the students, faculty, and staff in planning and creating events and programs that aid College of Nursing students in professional and personal development
Dean's Student Scholarship Fund
SNA Award: Award given to graduating senior based on essay submission ($200)
2 leadership development awards to send students to NSNA conference: $600 each
2 leadership development awards to send students to any conference - $300 each
The Rush College of Nursing Student Council (CONSC), Nurses Alumni Fund grant is available to all College of Nursing students who have plans to attend or present at a professional/scholarly conference. Recipients will be awarded a maximum of $1000 for state and regional conferences, and a maximum of $1500 for national and international conferences. CONSC has a list of recurring nursing conferences.
