College of Nursing Student Council

Mission

The College of Nursing Student Council (CONSC) serves as the representative body for all Rush nursing students.

The CONSC will always mirror Rush University’s values of diversity and inclusion, and we believe excellence in education is promoted by having a diverse group of student leaders. The CONSC culture of inclusion celebrates student differences and sees them as strengths.

The CONSC facilitates communication between students and administration in order to convey student concerns, foster cooperation between students and faculty, and facilitate interdisciplinary communication.

The CONSC board will maintain high academic standards and serve the general welfare of the College of Nursing, Rush University, and the Rush University Medical Center community.

It is the duty of CONSC Board to encourage continued participation of graduates in the Rush community, and to engage the ideas of the students, faculty, and staff in planning and coordinating events and programs that will aid College of Nursing students in professional and personal development.
