The “Substance Use” Column on the unit patient list will update according to the results of the two-question screening to prompt action from social workers
Patients who answer “1 or more” to either question will receive a full screening through the automatic consult to Case Management – Substance use
Patients identified with a substance use disorder will be referred by SUIT Inpatient Consort Team to appropriate treatment in the outpatient setting
