Continuing Education

Rush University is accredited as a provider of continuing education for the health care team. It is our mission to provide continuing education programs that advance Rush practitioners’ contributions to quality health care, enhance professional growth and position Rush as a leader in providing continuing education to the larger health care community.

The Center for Innovative & Lifelong Learning (CILL) helps faculty develop continuing education activities that are profession-specific or that are designed for multiple professions in the health care team. Rush offers continuing education activities in all of the following professions:

  • Medicine
  • Nursing
  • Nutrition
  • Occupational therapy
  • Pharmacy
  • Psychology
  • Respiratory therapy
  • Social work
  • Speech-audiology

Learning opportunities range from traditional live lectures to interactive case studies and web-based courses.
