How to Apply

The Complex Family Planning Fellowship application process is run through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We invite you to visit their Applying to Fellowships with ERAS page for more information. The match process will be facilitated by the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Please visit the Society of Family Planning’s Fellowship Application Additional Instructions to inform your personal statement submission.

Wednesday, September 9, 2026Applicant rank lists must be submitted to the NRMP
Wednesday, September 23, 2026Applicants are notified of their match via email. If an applicant does not match, they are eligible to participate in a scramble with unmatched sites.
Sunday, August 1, 2027Fellows begin their first year of Fellowship


Letters of recommendation are submitted via the Letter of Recommendation Portal on the ERAS website.
