We accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). While there is no minimum USMLE score requirement, we review a large pool of applications and our selection process is very competitive. We require Step 1 and/or COMLEX Level 1 scores before considering the application. Step 2 and/or COMLEX Level 2 may be completed after the deadline, but successful completion of Step 1 & 2 and/or COMLEX Level 1 & 2 is required prior to matriculation. An away rotation is not required for consideration in our ERAS application process.
International Medical Graduates must obtain ECFMG certification before the issuance of a training license. To be eligible for training, residents must be a US citizen, permanent US resident with valid work authorization, or hold a J-1 or H-1 visa.
A completed application must include:
- A Dean's letter of evaluation
- Three to four letters of recommendation
- Medical school transcript
- USMLE and/or COMLEX scores
- ECFMG certificate
Resident applicants are evaluated on academic performance in medical school, letters of recommendation, and USMLE and/or COMLEX results.
Our application and supporting documentation deadline is November 1st. We suggest that you submit all the required documents well before this date.
