Welcome from the chiefs
Thank you for exploring the pediatrics residency program at Rush University Children’s Hospital! Residency at Rush was an incredible experience for us both, and we believe it can be the same for you.
Our resident-driven children’s hospital and medium-sized program create an ideal environment for training. We work side by side with exemplary clinicians across the department who love to teach. At the largest academic general pediatrics practice in Chicago, our residents build continuity with their own patients and serve a diverse patient population. Our residents grow into outstanding clinicians who comfortably transition from residency to fellowship or careers in general pediatrics.
During residency, we formed relationships with both co-residents and faculty that will last a lifetime. Were you to visit our program in-person, it would be evident that wellness is one of our core values. Our program leadership is deeply invested in all of our residents and uses resident feedback to continuously strengthen the program.
