The Rush Oncology Student Association (ROSA) is a student-run organization open to all Rush health professions students who share a passion for oncology and cancer care. ROSA's mission is to cultivate the next generation of oncology professionals by fostering a collaborative community centered around education, research, mentorship, and cancer awareness.

Vision Statement To be the premier oncology student organization at Rush University, serving as a bridge between students and the full spectrum of oncology; including hematology/oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, and pediatric oncology; while making a meaningful impact on our community through cancer awareness and advocacy.
Goals
- Connect students with faculty mentors, clinicians, and researchers across all oncology subspecialties.
- Support student engagement in oncology research and scholarly activity.
- Raise cancer awareness through community outreach and advocacy events.

- Research Symposiums: Showcasing student and faculty oncology research and facilitating collaboration.
- Community Cancer Awareness Events: Outreach initiatives focused on cancer prevention, screening, and education.
- Networking & Mentorship Mixers: Connecting students with oncology professionals and peers across health professions programs.
- Fundraisers: Supporting cancer-related causes and organizational programming.
Membership
ROSA is open to all Rush University students. No prior oncology experience is required; whether you are certain about a career in oncology or simply curious, all are welcome!
