Student Support Collective

Mission

Student Support Collective (SSC) Mission Statement: The aim of the Student Support Collective (SSC) is to build a supportive community amongst low-income students at Rush to encourage the exchange of resources and ideas between one another. SSC also aims to host programming and events to address students’ needs and help alleviate stressors related to access to resources. SSC strives to act as a liaison between students and administration in order to advocate for reducing disparities present within the student body. SSC works to help guide and empower students in financial literacy throughout their education. SSC’s current initiatives include: - Establishing the Rush University Student Scrub Exchange to help increase student access to professional clothes and encourage sustainability. - Creating a student resource guide by students for students with advice and tips to navigate finances as a student. - More coming soon! If you would like to join our efforts on the leadership team, please reach out to us (ssc@rush.edu)!
