Mission
Rush University’s DACA Medical Association (DMA) was founded in 2022 for DACA medical students at Rush Medical College. DMA’s mission is to advance and strengthen the financial, emotional, social, and professional support of DACA students in the field of medicine and beyond. Our vision is to be the leading DACA medical organization in the United States, where other medical institutions may follow our footsteps to improve their diversity and inclusion. We believe that through group initiatives, DACA students may achieve fulfillment of their hopes and ambitions while representing the immigrant community in the field of medicine. We aim to address and improve health equity for the immigrant community through advocacy, mentorship, networking, and activism.
