Cardiovascular Perfusion Student Government Association (CVPSGA)

Mission

The Cardiovascular Perfusion Student Government Association (CVPSGA) is an organization directed by students to facilitate communication between the students and administration alongside encouraging involvement in the RUSH community and perfusion profession. The organization represents the RUSH cardiovascular perfusion students’ voices and interests in order to further their education, promote service, address student concerns, and foster engagement within the field of perfusion.

CVPSGA strives to provide opportunities for dialogue and collaboration with cardiovascular perfusion professionals on a local and national scale while establishing lifelong relationships for students beyond the RUSH community. Our mission is to educate potential health care students about our field, enhance the College of Health Science student body’s experience and cultivate a social environment centered around discussions related to current research and development in cardiovascular perfusion.

Typical Events:

  • RUSH University Heart Walk
  • Perfusion Awareness Day
