Through Abundant Living, your congregation will walk through a year-long heart health and financial wellness program. This program includes Heart to Heart – a 24-week nutrition education class focusing on chronic condition prevention and Money Smart for Adults – a financial education program created by the FDIC.
Heart-to-Heart (H2H) is one of the core components of Abundant Living. This program includes 24 nutrition education classes, 12 Bible study sessions, and one-on-one assistance from a Rush Community Health Worker (CHW). Eligible participants will receive individualized assistance with lowering and maintaining their blood pressure from a CHW.
When your Church is receiving the Heart-to-Heart and the Money Smart sessions, your Pastor will lead Bible Studies. Each of the Bible Studies will provide a spiritual context to the information you'll learn during Heart-to-Heart and Money Smart!
What is Money Smart?
Money Smart is the other component of the Abundant Living Program focused on financial wellness.
