Dear Fellows and Friends,
Welcome to Rush University Medical Center Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program. Our program started in 2009 and continued to grow since. At Rush University Medical Center, Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program focuses heavily on providing Fellows with the education needed to start their career immediately after graduation. Examples of previous graduates of our program are impressive.
The program emphasizes on well-rounded and balanced training in all aspects of pediatric cardiology led by top notch faculty members and staff leaderships. Fellows are also encouraged to seek off site electives, supported by their mother program, to further enhance their development of variable areas in pediatric cardiology. The new addition of a fourth year non-invasive fellowship training further expands the horizon for our fellows and makes them fears competitors in the job market.
Through specialized curriculum planning, staff leadership development and survey feedback, we continue to create an even stronger educational program. One of the distinguishing characteristics of our fellowship program is the unique Master degree of clinical research that is fully funded by the pediatric department at Rush University Medical Center.
I look forward to making “the Rush Experience” the very best it can be for our fellows. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our program. I truly hope that you will have an opportunity to visit us in Chicago so you can see first-hand why our program is an ideal place for you to train.
