The Rush Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program provides exceptional training in general and interventional pediatric cardiology. You’ll build the knowledge and skills required to become a successful pediatric cardiology attending physician, treating children with heart disease and adults with congenital heart disease. Rush University graduates hold prestigious positions in the U.S. and around the world and are well-prepared to pursue subspecialty training in other areas, such as imaging and intervention.

In our dynamic fellowship training program, you’ll do the following:
Participation in three prestigious venues enhances training and is a foundational element of learning. These include the Pediatric Interventional Cardiac Symposium, Fetal Cardiac Symposium and Pediatric Cardiology.

Candidates must be graduates of U.S. or Canadian medical schools and be eligible for licensure to practice medicine in Illinois. We accept foreign medical graduates (who have trained in a LCME pediatric residency program) with H1 and J1 Visas with at least three remaining years of eligibility.
Positions begin on July 1 the following year. We stop accepting applications on October 31. Selected candidates will be invited via email to interview during the months of September and October.
