Reverend Mark L. Tabbut, MDiv, BCC, ACPE, an ordained Presbyterian minister (PC U.S.A.), is a Certified Educator in the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, the Director of Clinical Pastoral Education and a Board Certified member in the Association of Professional Chaplains. Rev. Tabbut is active in the leadership of the services provided by the department such as the coordination of the Clinical Pastoral Education program and he serves on Rush University’s Faculty Council. As an instructor, he participates in the interviewing, orientation and supervision of our CPE students. Rev. Tabbut holds degrees from North Dakota State University and from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. He has a strong background in the fields of grief, self-psychology and medical ethics. He has presented workshops on story theology, and suffering at national conferences. He is a co-author of an article on Mission Integration published in a national Roman Catholic healthcare magazine.
