The research interests of John M. Tang, PhD are in the areas of ion channels, bacterial porins, lipid bilayers, patch-clamp techniques, perfusing patch pipettes, silicon-based ion channel sensor, channels of internal membranes in sarcoplasmic reticulum and mitochondria, and pressure sensitive channels. Dr. Tang is the web editor of Rush Medical College, Office of Basic Biological Sciences (OBBS) Departments.
