Policy Development & Advocacy

Welcome to the Policy Development and Advocacy webpage. The purpose of this committee is to raise awareness of issues, recommend initiatives and policies, and advocate for needs on behalf of the staff. We have started working on additional materials that may be helpful to new University employees.

Commuting to Rush: Parking and Transportation Resources

As a new or existing University staff member, you may have questions about how to get around the Rush campus or what your options are for employee parking or public transportation. We’ve created a resource guide to help you acquaint yourself with the campus and learn more about the parking and transportation options at your disposal. To view the guide, click here.

Want to know some basics about the all encompassing Link Transactions site? This guide will show you how to update your employee information, how to access the Payroll website, how to view your W2, and provide you links to your Benefits overview and the Performance evaluation page. You can check it out here.

This two-hour training session is required for all new researchers and study team members. It is held every Friday from 10am – 12pm via WebEx. After completing this training, you’ll be granted access to the research portal, which is where you will be able to create and submit your research studies.
