Archana Chatterjee, MD, PhD

Dr. Archana Chatterjee serves as Dean of Chicago Medical School and Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago. She serves on several national Advisory Boards and Committees, including the US Food and Drug Administration’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee, the Administrative Board of the Association of American Medical Colleges’ Council of Deans, and the American Board of Pediatrics Sub-board of Pediatric Infectious Diseases. She has been dedicated to the mentorship and sponsorship of faculty and learners throughout her career.

Sheila Dowd, PhD

Dr. Dowd is the Vice Chair of Faculty Affairs in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago (RUMC). Her research began with studying Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for treatment-resistant depression. This work contributed to its approval by the FDA in 2008. She continues to grow a successful TMS program treating depression, OCD, and more recently PTSD. During her tenure at RUMC, she served as Associate Training Director for the Psychiatry Residency program and expanded the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training portion of the residency. Dr. Dowd also developed and implemented CBT services for an inpatient Mood Disorders unit, while serving as Co-Director of the Adult Outpatient Clinic in the department.  Her research expanded in 2012 to explore anxiety and traumatic stress.  Currently, she is focusing on the wellness of her colleagues as the Senior Advisor to the Center for Clinical Wellness at RUMC.

Hannah Lundberg, PhD

Hannah Lundberg is the Claude N. Lambert, MD – Helen S. Thomson Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Associate Chair for Basic Research in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center. She received her BS and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa and postdoctoral training from Rush. Dr. Lundberg's lab uses computational modeling of human joint biomechanics to mechanistically investigate current clinical problems that affect the lower extremity and limit the lifetime of total joint replacements. Current studies include NIH-funded team science approaches to understanding fretting corrosion-induced hip implant failure and oxidation of knee tibial inserts.

Rikeesha Phelon, MA

Phelon is a strategist, public speaker and coach who guides leaders through external and internal communications challenges. She developed her approach and has deepened executive training experience through senior communications positions in nonprofit management, state governmental leadership, healthcare and medical education. Since 2018, she has served at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where she is the Associate Provost of Strategy. In addition to advising executive leaders at SIU, Phelon continues to train other leaders on how to execute communications strategies that can ignite change and create more just and healthy communities.

Stacy Sattovia, MD

Dr. Sattovia is a hospitalist and professor of clinical medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield. Born and raised in central Illinois, she attended Illinois Wesleyan University for her undergraduate degree. She attended medical school at SIU School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency with chief resident year at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. She practices clinically as an academic hospitalist, with an interest in quality and performance improvement. This interest led her to pursue a master's degree in business administration from the University of Illinois in Springfield. 

Administratively, she serves as the medical director for the SIU Office of Continuing Professional Development and the co-director of the Professional Development Pillar of the SIU Center for Human and Organizational Potential or cHOP.

Boyung Suh, PhD

Boyung Suh, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Medical Education at SIU School of Medicine. He earned a PhD in Learning, Leadership, and Organization Development at the University of Georgia. He directs the Academy for Scholarship in Education and co-directs Professional Development at the Center for Human and Organizational Potential at SIU SOM. His research and practice areas include faculty development, organizational development, and program evaluation.

Sookyung Suh, PhD, PMP

Dr. Sookyung Suh is an educator, coach, and change management expert dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations. She is an assistant professor and is the director of Organizational Change and Transformation Strategist at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, specializing in leadership development and organizational transformation. With a decade of experience in management consulting and a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems, she brings deep expertise in driving impactful change. Dr. Suh is also a certified executive coach, guiding faculty and staff toward professional growth.

Nutan Vaidya, MD

Dr. Nutan Vaidya is the Vice Dean for the Office of Faculty Affairs and Equity at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.  As a dedicated scholar, educator, and administrator with three decades of teaching Psychiatry and Neurology at CMS, Dr. Vaidya has devoted significant efforts to identifying and nurturing the talents of residents and faculty members. Under her guidance, the medical school has introduced several initiatives to improve professionalism and resilience among faculty, staff, and students. Dr. Vaidya has played a pivotal role in initiating the clinical faculty recognition program, which acknowledges the contributions of clinical educators. Additionally, she leads the Professionalism Committee, which is dedicated to instilling and acknowledging professionalism in students and faculty through education and promotion efforts.

Amarjit Virdi, PhD

Amarjit Virdi, PhD is the Director of Rush Mentoring Programs within the Office of the Faculty Affairs at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago. The program engages faculty in activities that directly impact their scholarly productivity and career advancement. 

Amarjit is also a faculty member in the Department of Anatomy & Cell Biology where he holds the rank of professor. He has been an educator and a mentor to graduate and medical students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty. As a researcher, he has conducted studies in orthopedics, investigating bone tissue repair and regeneration.

Nick Weshinskey, PhD, NCC

Dr. Nick Weshinskey is a licensed professional educator in the state of Illinois and holds a national board certification in counseling. He has been a high school teacher, a psychotherapist, and a university faculty member and administrator. Prior to his work with the SIU School of Medicine, Dr. Weshinskey designed and oversaw curricular interventions to improve undergraduate students’ academic and psychosocial success. Dr. Weshinskey’s teaching and research interests include higher education pedagogy, faculty development, student development and socialization, qualitative inquiry, and men’s studies.
