What Drew You to Rush: Rush offers the opportunity to train in a variety of settings that will help me to learn and develop skills to aid me in my own practice one day. I’m excited to work in the inpatient substance consult service as well as the outpatient services. The program is very supportive and flexible in aiding me to achieve my personal and career goals as well as maintaining physician wellness.
Hobbies: In my spare time I like to write (poetry and short stories mostly), play guitar, read, travel, exercise, and explore the city.

What Drew You to Rush: The Rush Addiction Medicine program has a great mix of inpatient and outpatient work. The program offers training in treating patients with very complex multifactorial problems and the opportunity to serve a diverse patient population. Additionally I am drawn to the varied settings of training including a tertiary care center, community hospital, academic clinic as well as community based recovery programs.
Hobbies: In my spare time I enjoy city biking, looking for bookstores and coffee shops.
