Bryce de Venecia is a Colorado native that has been entranced by the Midwest and is very excited to be starting his Addiction Medicine Fellowship at RUSH. He finished his Emergency Medicine Residency at Indiana University. While in medical school at University of Wisconsin Madison, he discovered his passion for both Emergency Medicine and Addiction Medicine, knowing that he wanted to unify the two fields. He has a special interest in starting Medication Assisted Therapy and other preventative health measures in the Emergency Department. As a member of the LGBTQ community, he seeks to continue to make the medical field more inclusive for queer providers and patients through increased visibility, advocacy and mentorship. In his free time, he enjoys running (hoping to compete in the Chicago Marathon sometime soon), hiking, and the performing arts.

Tiffany Tahata, DO

Tiffany Tahata was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai’i and completed her undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology at the University of Hawa’i at Manoa. She left the islands to attend medical school at RVUCOM in Colorado and completed her internal medicine residency at the Community Memorial Health system in Ventura, California. Dr. Tahata had an early interest in addiction medicine and has been inspired by the patients she met as a medical student and as a resident both in and out of the hospital and at evening Suboxone groups. She is excited to join the RUSH Addiction Medicine team and hopes to reduce the stigma around addiction and to improve patents’ access to care. Outside of work she loves music and has performed in bands and orchestras and loves going to concerts and festivals. She also loves the outdoors and being active - when she is not outside running, she can be found playing volleyball, kickboxing, climbing, or at the beach.
