  • Library - Electronic Thesis and Dissertation (ETD) Workshops

The Library is pleased to announce that graduating students will be able to submit their theses and dissertations electronically beginning February 5, 2018. This transition to an Electronic Thesis and Dissertation (ETD) procedure will be highly advantageous for Rush students and will expedite the process.
Electronic filing means that, in many cases, students can submit their work to ProQuest, the publisher of theses and dissertations, at no charge. Students will also be able to submit their work at their convenience at any time during the semester, rather than waiting for appointments with the Library. Students will not be required to meet with the Library staff because all communications can be handled online.
The Library will continue to offer in-person consultations upon request. Distance students have already tested this new process, and it has proven highly effective.
Upcoming workshops for this new process will be held Tuesday, January 23, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, and Wednesday, January 24, 3 pm to 4 pm in room AAC 903.
