The Agilent 6890N is a state-of-the art gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer with its own designated ChemStation software that provides superior performance for all analytical applications. The one in the Center for Integrated Microbiome & Chronobiology Research (CIMCR) laboratory is primarily used for analytical measurements of carbohydrate based samples such as oligosaccharides and polysaccharides.
