Repealing ACA Could Affect Women, Families, Health Care Providers

With a possible repeal of the Affordable Care Act now in the hands of the U.S. Senate, a group of nursing faculty from institutions across the U.S., including Mona Shattell, PhD, RN, FAAN, of the Rush University College of Nursing, has authored an opinion piece on the Hufftington Post about the potential impact a repeal would have on women, families and health care providers, such as nurses.

The authors are members of the Women’s Health Expert Panel of the American Academy of Nursing.
