MS, Occupational Therapy, Rush University
Meghan Crisp, MS, OTR/L, is an instructor in the Department of Occupational Therapy whose teachings focus on psychosocial aspects of occupational therapy, including group dynamics and psychosocial interventions. Her clinical practice in mental health has supported this work and driven her research interest in qigong as an occupational therapy intervention for individuals with affective disorders. Her research goals include expanding her qigong research to additional patient populations and age groups. She also hopes to investigate the effectiveness of using qigong as a treatment option in community based occupational therapy practice. She enjoys both teaching and clinical work and sees immense value in combining the two.
