Rush Internal Medicine - Resident Life

Residents are the heart and soul of our Department of Internal Medicine. Over the course of their training, our residents develop incredible relationships with patients, colleagues and mentors. Residents who choose to train at Rush will find themselves in a place that cares about their personal and professional needs. There is an understanding of mutual respect and professionalism within Rush which creates a rich educational environment.

Resident perks

  • Lunch provided 4 times a week with noon conference
  • House staff receive four quarterly stipends of $250 on their paycheck to use on meals, at the Rush Bookstore, at the Rush Fitness Center, or on other wellness expenses
