The Nephrology Fellowship program at RUSH University Medical Center is among the finest nephrology subspecialty training programs in the country. Comprehensive training in clinical, transplant, and research aspects of nephrology prepares you well for distinguished careers in practice, laboratory, academic and other settings.

Our two-year fellowship is led by engaged and supportive faculty, many of whom are RUSH University graduates. Three fellows train at each level.

RUMC is the program’s primary teaching site and is a 1,000-bed tertiary care academic medical center with a global reputation for excellence. The highly esteemed Division of Nephrology includes sections of Interventional Nephrology and Transplant Nephrology. Additionally, several of the division's faculty members lead highly productive renal research laboratories. The Division of Nephrology is part of the Department of Internal Medicine of RUSH University Medical Center.
