Living in Chicago

Image

Chicago is a fabulous city, and among one of the largest in the U.S. Located on Lake Michigan, Chicago has stunning architecture, diverse neighborhoods and boasts a very wide variety of activities—world-class theater, ballet and symphony, sporting events, sailing, an abundance of outdoor summer festivals, concerts and movies, and plenty of outdoor space for walking, running or biking. One can explore Chicago’s architecture on an architecture cruise or even by kayak, and enjoy one of the many museums such as the Museum of Science and Industry, the Field Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago and the National Museum of Mexican Art. Chicago is also known for its varied ethnic and Michelin-rated restaurants. There’s never a shortage of things to do in Chicago!

RUSH University Medical Center is located in the Illinois Medical District, just west of downtown. Most trainees live in the diverse neighborhoods of Chicago, with easy access to RUSH via bus, train or on-demand ride services.
