Master of Science in Health Systems Management Admissions & Deadlines

Application are accepted and reviewed between September 15 and Jun 15. Please submit all transcripts, references, test scores, essays and supplemental materials to the HAMPCAS portal.

Admissions requirements

To be considered for admission into the health systems management program, you must have the following qualifications prior to enrolling in the program:

  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  2. GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
  3. Prerequisite coursework:
    • Accounting course
    • Statistics course

Coursework highlighting quantitative ability is a requirement. Example include: Micro- and Macro-economics

*Please note: GRE not required

Entry term: Fall (September)
Application cycle: September - June
Early application deadline: Dec. 1
Priority application deadline: Feb. 15
Final application deadline: July 14

At this time, the program will not be able to accept international applicants who require an F-1 visa.

Early application deadline for first priority is December 1. The priority deadline to submit applications is February 15. The final deadline to submit applications is June 15.

On-site interviews are conducted on Fridays beginning in December and will end when we have filled our incoming cohort.

To apply to the health systems management program, complete the following steps:

① Complete an application using the Healthcare Administration, Management and Policy Centralized Application Service.

② You will also need the following ready to submit directly to HAMPCAS:

  1. Official transcripts from every U.S. college or university attended. For coursework completed outside the United States, submit an international course evaluation.
  2. Name and email address of three references. HAMPCAS will contact each reference with instructions on how to complete an online evaluation.
  3. Personal statement.
  4. Resume.

③ If your native language is not English, submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores.

④ Participate in an on-campus interview. 

You will be informed if you are required to complete the secondary Rush Application. Please do not complete the secondary application until you have been asked to do so.
