Interfolio will give faculty one place to maintain activity information that supports reporting, reviews, accreditation, and institutional planning. As modules are introduced, this site will explain what faculty need to know, what actions are expected, and where to find support.
Rush University is implementing Interfolio, a faculty information system that will help faculty maintain academic activities and materials while supporting evaluation, promotion, and advancement processes.
Interfolio will support faculty success by improving data accuracy, streamlining academic processes, and reducing the need to submit the same activity information multiple times.
Rush is implementing two Interfolio modules to support faculty: Faculty Activity Reporting (FAR) along with Review, Promotion, and Tenure (RPT). FAR and RPT will work together to streamline faculty review and promotion processes. FAR will serve as the primary source for faculty activity information used during the RPT review process. Information maintained in FAR can be reused in RPT, reducing duplicate entries and making it easier to prepare review materials.
As implementation progresses, this page will provide project updates, training information, guidance, and support resources. Faculty should continue using existing systems and processes until additional instructions are provided.
Learn more about each Interfolio module:
Faculty Activity Reporting (FAR)
A centralized location for documenting academic accomplishments and activities.
Review, Promotion, and Tenure (RPT)
A platform for standardized electronic workflows to streamline academic reviews.
Routine updates will support timely reporting and help ensure that faculty accomplishments are accurately reflected.
