Student National Medical Association

Mission

The RUSH University Chapter of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) is committed to supporting current and future underrepresented minority medical students; addressing the needs of underserved communities in Chicago, IL; and increasing the number of clinically excellent, culturally competent and socially conscious physicians.

We organize guidance and mentorship activities for high school and undergraduate students with an interest in science and health-related fields. Additionally, RUSH SNMA works to improve multicultural awareness and sensitivity at RUSH University through our many community service projects and interdisciplinary activities.
