Trainee Research Day is an event held each spring that features oral and poster presentations, and an award ceremony reception. Judging of the poster presentations will be performed by faculty, staff, and peers (“People’s Choice”). In addition to highlighting trainee accomplishments, Trainee Research Day presents an opportunity for colleagues and visitors to learn about the cutting-edge research occurring at RUSH.

- All matriculated students and alumni (graduated on/or after May 2023)
- Post-Doctoral Research Fellows
- Clinical Fellows
- Clinical Residents
- 2023 Summer Research Program Participants (Non-RUSH matriculated students)
Abstract Submission
All trainees must submit their abstracts by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10 via this form. Prior to submission, it is recommended that the abstract guidelines be reviewed. Poster acceptances will be notified by early February.

Oral Presentation Awards
Awarded trainees from each college will be selected to participate in this session. Final slides are due by 5 p.m. on Monday, March 18. More information to follow.
Poster Presenters
- All presenters are encouraged to follow the poster guidelines, as space is limited.
- Posters will need to be displayed between 3 - 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20.
- All presenters must stand by their poster during the Poster Presentation Session on Thursday, March 21 as follows:
- Odd poster numbers: 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.
- Even poster numbers: 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
