The Research Application Team supports investigators and research staff by providing secure and scalable solutions for transferring and sharing research data. We can help you set up the appropriate tools and applications to safely exchange data within Rush and with external collaborators.

There are several approved tools available for research data sharing at Rush. Our team can assist with configuring and managing solutions such as:

• MoveIt (SFTP): Secure file transfer for large datasets and automated data exchanges
• Azure Blob Storage: Cloud-based storage for scalable data sharing and collaboration
• OneDrive / SharePoint: Secure document and file collaboration within teams and across institutions

These tools enable secure, compliant, and efficient data exchange, whether you are sharing files with internal teams or collaborating with external research partners.

Requesting Data Transfer Services

Requests for data transfer or data sharing solutions can be submitted through ServiceNow. Once submitted, the Research Application Team will work with you to determine the most appropriate platform based on your project’s requirements, security needs, and collaboration goals.
