We are grateful to have you on our team! You will receive $25 for referring eligible community members who qualify and complete their enrollment in VITAL. Before you give away your tickets, make sure your recruits qualify for the study by following the steps below:
Make sure your recruit lives within the VITAL recruitment boundaries:
- Live West of State St (0 E/W) & East of Western Ave (2400 W)
Live North of Garfield Blvd (5500 S) & South of 75th St (7500 S)

Step 2:
If the address qualifies, make sure your recruit meets the following additional criteria:
- Must be 30 years old or older
- Speak English fluently
- Can provide consent (not have a major mental health diagnosis, like schizophrenia, or a learning disability)
- Will be able and willing to follow up with us in 3 years (have not moved from the area or are too sick to meet with us)
- Will consent to be a part of the study
Step 3:
If your recruit matches the criteria listed above, you can share your VITAL recruitment ticket!
To receive $25 for referring someone you know to the VITAL program, the referred person must meet all the requirements listed above and consent to be a part of the study. Members of the Rush team will call you in a week’s time to ask if you have distributed the tickets for the study. Members of the Rush team will also notify you when the community member you referred completes their enrollment so that you can be compensated for recruiting.
