“House Staff Appreciation Week is important because it provides Graduate Medical Education and the entire Rush community the opportunity to celebrate our trainee physicians and their contribution to outstanding patient care,” says Mashonda Daniels, director of Graduate Medical Education at Rush. “The Rush GME team wants our trainees to know they are appreciated and we are especially grateful for their work during the last two years of the COVID-19 pandemic. The house staff have been asked to go over and beyond the call of duty, and we are so proud each and every one of them.”
