Teresa Moro, PhD, AM, LSW completed both her master’s and doctoral degrees in Social Work at the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice (formerly School of Social Service Administration) at the University of Chicago with a concentration in health services and expertise in chronic illness, disability, and family systems. Her primary focus has been exploring ways to improve the health and health care for individuals with complex healthcare needs and their caregivers. Moro’s training in person-in-environment and systemic perspectives affords her a unique approach to engaging and partnering with individuals, families, and neighborhoods, while remaining attuned to community and society level interactions.
