Peter Tsambarlis, MD, joins Rush as an assistant professor of Urology.
Tsambarlis has obtained subspecialty training in the field of men’s health with an emphasis on male sexual health and prostate cancer survivorship. He received his medical degree from the Rush Medical College. He completed his urology residency at Rush University Medical Center and subsequently entered the Tulane University program for his fellowship in men’s health, prosthetic urology and andrology.
During his training and early career, he has co-authored multiple articles and book chapters focusing on penile prosthetics, male urinary continence, and Peyronie’s disease. He also has a clinical interest in male factor infertility, scrotal pathology and urethral stricture disease. He is currently on the editorial board for Asian Journal of Andrology and is co-editing a special edition on prosthetic urology for the journal.
