Until 2015, Melinda Earle, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE, FAONL served as Associate Vice President, Hospital Affairs and Director, Rush Children’s Hospital at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She has held leadership positions at several Chicago area hospitals and academic medical centers. In addition to hospital operations, she held service line administration positions in cardiovascular, oncology, and women’s and children’s services for over 20 years. Earle managed a national healthcare consultant practice for several years assisting clients with strategic planning and service line development. She has published and presented nationally and internationally on these areas of expertise. She leads the Illinois Organization of Nurse Leaders Fellowship Program. Earle is a 2013 Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellow. She is a Fellow in the American Organization for Nursing Leadership and American College of Healthcare Executives. Dr. Earle is a Past President of the Illinois Organization of Nurse Leaders and the National Association for Women’s Health. She is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of Heartland Alliance Health and serves as a director on the Heartland Alliance Board. She is also a member of ACHE, AONL, IONL, CHEF, and Sigma Theta Tau-Gamma Phi.
