Jeanne Little is an Advance Practice Registered Nurse and began her nursing career 16 years ago after graduating from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her clinical background has always been in pediatric critical care, but more recently she received training in pediatric primary care and will be board certified as both an acute care and primary care pediatric nurse practitioner.
During her doctoral studies, she worked with endocrine specialists to implement a structured and coordinated transition of care program for adolescents with diabetes to transfer to adult-oriented care. Little’s primary teaching responsibilities are with the Acute Care Pediatric DNP program, but she also has experience as a clinical instructor for the GEM program. Integrating simulation into medical training is an area of interest to Little and also a topic she has published on.
