Jackie Hankins, MS, RD, CSR, LDN, is an advanced level dietitian providing medical nutrition therapy to adult nephrology patients in the outpatient setting. She is a board certified specialist in renal nutrition. Her research interests are to identify correlations between biochemical markers and improving nutrition status in chronic renal failure patients requiring dialysis, as well as improving compliance and lab values through education in this population. Hankins serves as editor to the Reference Guide to Clinical Nutrition Handbook, a Rush publication, and as a preceptor for the renal clinical rotation for the students of the clinical nutrition graduate program.
