Eileen T. Crehan, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral fellow at the Autism Assessment, Research, and Treatment Services (AARTS) Center in the Department of Psychiatry at Rush University Medical College. Her research focuses on gaze detection and the impact of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and psychological characteristics on social perception. In addition, she is interested in sexuality in the ASD community and ways to promote healthy and positive sexual education programming. In the past, Dr. Crehan has been involved in a number of family wellness programs with components such as violin training, before school exercise programs, and meditation. She spent time in graduate school working with children and families with emotion regulation deficits to help better understand the relation between attention, mood, aggression, and bipolar disorder.
