DNP, RUSH University
Denise Kirsten, DNP, APRN, NNP-BC, is a teacher-practitioner with joint responsibilities in the College of Nursing and in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at RUSH University Children’s Hospital. She currently teaches in the neonatal nurse practitioner program. Kirsten has worked in the field of neonatology for over 30 years and received her DNP from RUSH University. Her area of interest is neurology.
