Application Process
Thank you for your interest in our program! We will begin accepting applications from September to November through the ERAS. The application deadline and submission of the following is November 30, 2023.
Submit your application through the Electronic Residency Application Service and include the following:
- Dean’s letter and medical school transcripts
- Three letters of recommendation
- U.S. Medical Licensing Examination transcripts
- Curriculum vitae
- Personal statement
- ECFMG Certificate (if applicable)
Applicants must be graduates of a U.S., Canadian or U.S. citizen with ECFMG accredited medical school. Must have graduated within four years from an approved medical school and be eligible for licensure to practice medicine in Illinois.
All applications will be reviewed holistically.
Prospective applicants
- We encourage students from diverse backgrounds to apply.
- Spanish proficiency encouraged.
- Individuals from underrepresented populations, different cultural and religious backgrounds, and those identifying as LGBTQIA are welcomed, supported, and valued.
- We are unable to sponsor visas at this time.
