Sloane York, MD, MPHProgram Director
Sloane York, MD, MPH joined the RUSH faculty in 2013 following her residency and fellowship training at Northwestern University. She completed medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2007. Dr. York became the Program Director in 2018 and is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive program where the residents receive excellent OBGYN training. She helped establish the Division of Family Planning at RUSH and is faculty for the Complex Family Planning Fellowship. Additionally, she works as an OB Hospitalist and enjoys taking OB call with the residents. Dr. York enjoys the calm nature of a city like Chicago and spends her free weekends with her two children enjoying the many parks and beaches.
Ruby Cocco, MDAssociate Program Director
Ruby Cocco, MD joined the RUSH faculty in 2019. Dr. Cocco completed medical school at Rush Medical College and her resdidency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She feels fortunate living in Chicago and has been here since completing residency. She has worked in Evanston, Skokie and Naperville, IL prior to joining RUSH as an OB Hospitalist. Dr. Cocco has been the Associate Program Director since 2021. She lives in the northside of Chicago with her family and her hobbies include walking and running with her dog.

Saida Haider, MD, MPH received her MD from the University of Chicago and her MPH in maternal and childhood health from the Harvard School of Public Health. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), Harvard Medical School followed by her fellowship in Family Planning at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). As a health-services researcher, Dr. Haider has several funded studies that utilize interdisciplinary approaches to test strategies aiming to improve contraception access and provision, improve provision of Pre-exposure Prophylaxis for HIV (PrEP) for cis-gender women, and identify strategies to decrease maternal morbidity and mortality among high risk patients. Dr. Haider is also actively involved in educating and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows and is an advocate for increasing access to reproductive health.
Elizabeth Yepez, MDDepartment Executive Vice Chair

Elizabeth Yepez, MD graduated from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed her residency training at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Yepez is dedicated to advancing healthy equity. She serves as the co-director for Birth Equity where much of her work is focused on improving maternal birth outcomes for women of color and eradicating racial disparities in healthcare. Dr. Yepez is a Chicago native and daughter of Mexican immigrant parents, and she is strongly committed to the LatinX community.

Adrianne Dade, MD received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her residency training at the University of Chicago. Dr. Dade’s clinical focus is minimally invasive gynecological surgery and she practices general gynecology with specific interest in preventative medicine, gynecology ultrasound, abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, and DaVinci robotics. She has a special interest in medical education with a current focus on resident education, faculty development, and mentorship.
Summer Dewdney, MDDivision Director - Gynecologic Oncology
Summer Dewdney, MD completed residency training at the University of Chicago and fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis. Her passion lies in cervical cancer disparity research and community service. She is the chair of the cervical cancer committee of Equal Hope, a non-for-profit that is coordinating the elimination of cervical cancer in Chicago. She chairs the SGO’s quality and outcomes committee, the SGO Clinical Outcomes Registry, and is the SGO representative for ASCO’s CancerLinQ. She has been named one of Chicago’s Top Docs annually since 2019.

Fareesa Khan, MD joined RUSH in 2020 after spending fifteen years in private practice. She is interested in minimally invasive surgery, energy based vaginal treatments for GUSM, and value-based medicine. She enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.

Anna McCormick, DO received her medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed residency training at Rush University Medical Center followed by fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her hobbies include going to the beach with her family and gardening.
