"I chose to attend Rush University for the DNP program with pediatric acute care focus for the primary reason that it is a top rated program that coordinated clinical placements within a large number of health care organizations in varied and complex pediatric acute care subspecialty practices and divisions throughout the country. As a current pediatric nurse practitioner with many years of experience, the Rush faculty appropriately assigned clinical placements to meet my clinical and professional growth interests. The faculty are genuinely interested and invested in the success of the students and as a result, my learning experience was more of a mentored collaborative effort. I currently work in an acute care setting in an academic hospital where my advanced research education and research interests are well supported with my induction and participation within the organizational Scholars Academy."
