Rush University Physician Assistant Program Ranked Among Best Nationwide

Rush University’s Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program has been named among the best in the United States by Intelligent.com. The website also describes Rush University’s program as offering the “Best Practice Training Opportunities” among those on its list.

Intelligent.com’s comprehensive research guide to physician assistant degree programs is based on an assessment of 177 accredited colleges and universities in the U.S. Each program was evaluated based on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation and post-graduate employment.

The 2021 rankings were calculated through a scoring system that included student engagement, potential return on investment and leading third party evaluations. The methodology also uses an algorithm which collects and analyzes multiple rankings into one score to easily compare each school.

“We are very proud of our high-quality training opportunities.  In addition to 12 months of core rotations, our PA students each complete a 7-month advanced “third-year” track in a specialty of their choosing,” says Jessica Vlaming, MS, PA-C, associate program director, Rush University. “With all of this additional training, students feel more confident and prepared to practice as a new-graduate PA.”
