Tyler Weiss, MSc, RRT, RRT-ACCS, AE-C, FCCP is the Director of Clinical Education for Respiratory Care Services at Rush University Medical Center and assistant professor for the respiratory care program. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Health Sciences with his research focus on the effect of prone positioning in patients afflicted with COVID-19. He has presented at regional, state, national, and international conferences on various topics related to respiratory care. Due to his efforts in the COVID-19 pandemic, he was named one of Chicago’s 2020 Notable Health Care Heroes and in 2021, he was named a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
