Biography

Decoding the complex architecture of the human genome is key to understanding the primary genetic drivers of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders and guiding preventative and palliative health care through precision medicine. Ricardo Assunção Vialle is interested in applying state-of-the-art computational methods and sequencing technologies to unveil how genome variation affects brain molecular traits and their impact on neurodegeneration. He has a background in computation biology, with experience with human genetics and multi-omics analysis. He is currently an Instructor at the Rush Alzheimer's Disease Center, and a permanent advisor of the Instituto de Assistência Médica ao Servidor Público Estadual (IAMSPE) in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
