Rebecca O’Dwyer, MD, was born and raised in Dublin and moved to Munich for medical school where she completed her medical thesis in temporal lobe epilepsy semiology. She completed an epilepsy fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic before completing a neurology residency at Georgetown University Medical Center. She then did a clinical neurophysiology fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical Center. O’Dwyer is a member of the AAN and AES and a member of the AES guidelines committee.
