Rebecca Wilson, PhD, Assistant Professor, is a clinical health psychologist with expertise in guiding patients in lifestyle changes to prevent or manage chronic medical illnesses. Her specialized approach integrates cognitive, behavioral, and motivational strategies to provide treatments tailored to the challenges patients experience when trying to implement medical recommendations into their daily lives. She is currently contributing to the evidence base for behavioral treatments by serving as a lead interventionist in a multi-site behavioral trial aimed at testing a whether a lifestyle treatment can produce a sustained remission in the metabolic syndrome.
