Ramandeep Kaur, PhD, RRT-ACCS, AE-C, is an assistant professor in the Department of Cardiopulmonary Sciences. Kaur received her PhD from Rush University. Her PhD dissertation was focused on early identification and prevention of extubation failure among adult population. She is primarily involved in leading and coordinating research trials conducted in the Department of Cardiopulmonary Sciences. Clinically, Kaur works in the Division of Respiratory Care Services to lead quality improvement projects as well as work at the bedside to provide clinical care to adult patients receiving mechanical ventilation. At Rush, she teaches research and respiratory techniques/equipments to MS Respiratory Care students. She also mentors MS students in respiratory related research projects.
