Patricia Fank, PhD provides consultative, inpatient, and outpatient clinical services within the Supportive Oncology program at Rush. She serves as member of the Bone Marrow Transplant Service multidisciplinary team as the primary psychologist, conducing pre-transplant psychosocial evaluations and providing counseling services to patients and family members throughout their treatment trajectory. Fank provides supervision for psychology externs, interns, and fellows on service; and works closely with patients, caregivers, and medical teams to address issues along the entirety of the cancer care continuum. She collaborates on research initiatives and participates on committees as assigned. Fank is additionally skilled in education, teaching, and supervision of medical residents and psychology students. Her research focuses on clinical outcomes and improving the patient experience.
