Michele Richard, MD, has joined our team at Rush after completing her vascular and endovascular fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University. Having served several international missions, Richard has a strong interest in global health. This complements her academic focus of equity and diversity in medicine, as well as burnout, wellness and quality of life issues. Her research interests also include the impacts of surgical simulation and team communication, access to health care, and vascular clinical quality outcomes research. Richard’s surgical focus encompasses complex infrainguinal occlusive disease, cerebrovascular occlusive disease, thoracic outlet syndrome, and aneurysmal disease.
